Congratulations! What a stunning piece! I asked my AD about this piece and I was told that I have to purchase at least 6-8 Pateks as this is an application piece. Really happy that you got it as your first patek! Wear it in good health!

id like to think the enamelwork is worth it compared to some red text...its like a painting on the wrist.

Once you get beyond a certain $. Value becomes a matter of objective and subjective criteria, a hybrid between the hours spent and time to make the complication, finish the movement, create and finish dial as well as the artistic value and rarity of the final product. This is the same reason why a double split chronograph 5370P from Patek is $200k+.

The Worldtime enamel dial to me is beautiful and rare and of course the difficulty and time spent to forge the dial is worth the extra $ for me. This of course is an opinion. I also love the engraving on the case and the combined asthetic is much more compiling to me than the other worldtime models. I find it more beautiful than the celestial too.

Indeed. Only the crazies (I mean this out of love) at Lange do double split anything. :)

Love WT’s but I had rather allocated the 5131 premium to other pieces..works for me

Great watch. I have one myself. It’s actually pretty versatile once you change the strap.

Superb! The color goes very well with the green enamel.

I'm so jealous
