Best Grisham novel by far. And as he said in an interview on NPR, the only one he wrote that was not for the money.

I always encourage people to read the books but some TV/Film adaptations are exceptionally good and Alec Guinness as Smiley is one of those. Game of Thrones is another, for the first 4 books/series both mediums were brilliantly done. Recently in lockdown I saw two of Austen's best, Pride and Emma, done very well by the BBC. Two of the best film adaptations that were far better than the books are Shawshank and The English Patient.

The last book I read was Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett. It's my first foray into the Discworld series. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. It was a fun read.

My goal for 2021 is a book a week. I’ll check on this thread constantly for ideas! Most recently, i read living with a seal by Jessie Itzler, really interesting read. Now I’m finishing trailblazer about benioff.
