Bring up the bodies - Hilary Mantel. Book 2 of the Wolf Hall series.

Also been reading the George Smiley series by John Le Carré - very easily read in a few hours.

Best Grisham novel by far. And as he said in an interview on NPR, the only one he wrote that was not for the money.

Stay safe.

This just arrived this morning. Have only had a chance to have a quick flick through, but it looks amazing.

I always encourage people to read the books but some TV/Film adaptations are exceptionally good and Alec Guinness as Smiley is one of those. Game of Thrones is another, for the first 4 books/series both mediums were brilliantly done. Recently in lockdown I saw two of Austen's best, Pride and Emma, done very well by the BBC. Two of the best film adaptations that were far better than the books are Shawshank and The English Patient.

The last book I read was Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett. It's my first foray into the Discworld series. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. It was a fun read.

A book a week?

My gosh.

I’ve read about 4 a year

And I’m proud of myself

But a book a week would be super cool

Learn a bunch
