I actually like the strap and the way it looks, however the price is ridiculous!!! I mean no offense and to each there own but I would never pay $100-$129 for an after market rubber strap. JMHO

You need to see one in reel life.
The quality is superb, it doesn´t get better than this.
The quality is the same as many OEM rubber straps, like Omega, Tag Heuer and Breitling, and the cost is easily half or a third of the price of an OEM.

i do own all omega genuine rubbers for the 2254.50 and although expensive they are super quality
this Isofrane is right on par with the omega rubbers for half the price

And it's vintage.

for isofrane

Have black. That orange is luscious.

Might get one to put on my wife's key chain....

I've got an orange Isofrane for my orange Planet Ocean chrono, also. I bought it because I didn't want to ante up the bucks for the Omega orange strap & deployant buckle. It's well made & I'm well satisfied with the quality for the price, plus it smells great!

Is the isofrane website the only place these can be purchased?

AFAIK, yes. But their shipping is ridiculously fast to CONUS from Austria. Only a couple of days, IIRC.

That's what they are counting on to get them over the hump I'm sure, it's still not right! I'm sure the quality is high, I will never ever know, it's too over priced!

It's a little more then missing the bargain level IMHO, you guys know what you want and you know quality so I won't say anymore so as not to offend anyone but there is no justification for this cost in my eyes. Please enjoy them, this cheapskate will admire them from afar...

I hope it's not too far off topic but enough good things can't be said about Isofrane. I would easily pay $100 for the strap again (purchased used).

Your digging too deeply into the economics and pricing and value.

After all who in their right mind would drop 5, 10, 15 grand on a watch?

See you've got me in a nutshell, I'll pay $400 for a gourmet meal and probably overpay a great deal for a bottle of wine at a top rated restaurant but if my tuna salad the next afternoon goes up .35 cents I'll pout and start bringing my own salad to work.

It's not easy being me, or around me, just ask my wife...

Are we related!? My spending habits are not in sync either. I'll spend money like water on my hobbies but can't bring myself to pay an extra 50 cents for cheese when I buy a pretzel at the movies.

May be a common thread. Guess you have to "save" money somewhere to feel justified in spending....

In the rationalization department, someone told me something like this: the first cost is the best cost if its the last cost.
