But......would that be safe? Having the Rolex in such close proximity to the metal eyelets on your boots......or possibly smearing glaze on it from your Cinnabon.....this sounds like you’re living life on the wild side! A true modern day Cousteau!

You’re right. I’ll have to get ceramic eyelets!

TT 36mm DJ is not exactly a highly desirable watch.
These AD practices are just downright pitiful.

My AD showed me the watches that he had to buy to get a few sports models like BLNR and Sub Date. My jaw dropped. A bunch of ugly watches, impossible to sell, that I have no idea why Rolex still make them. So now I understand why the AD requires a buyer to get something else along with a desirable sports model.

People complain about Grey dealers and why they have these hard to find watches. AD essentially offers you the same deal, ‘we’ll give you a popular model, but you have to take a non popular model as well’ and that leaves a bad taste in your mouth? If anything, this is as fair as it’s going to get.
You have a seriously warped perception of reality if you think this BS is “fair” in any way shape or form.

You have a serious incapability of understanding posts if you can’t see how I stated ‘as fair as it’s going to get’. And the statement is true, in today’s climate for the super hard to get watches like a blue SkyD or white DaytonaC. Will that change? Possibly. But right now, again, it’s as fair as it’s going to get. You buy another watch at an AD, pay a large premium via Grey or wait 3-5 years for MSRP. Do I think it’s fair? No. But it’s the way it is.

Is that too hard for you to comprehend? Or is my ‘perception of reality’ so ‘warped’ that I’m incorrect with this logic and one can waltz into his or her local AD and simply pick up those hot references?

Sad but not surprising game by the AD.
