My enamel dial is one of the very very few(1 other ive seen) that has global warming,, ie it doesnt have snow on it..

All the other ones have snow, now the reason for this I dont know...!!!!

It's very interesting to see the various views of the continents on the different dials. Gorgeous watches!!

Hi, Andy,
I guess the making of cloisonné enamel dial is really unpredictable, depending on the style of the artisan and a bit of luck.
I also wish mine have more yellowish tinge in the continents.
We probably have to accept the uniqueness of each and every 5131R, unless you plan to acquire one more piece.
All in all, 5131R is a very rare timepiece and should be very happy to own one.

Best, Henry

The Cloisonné enamel discs are different sizes!

You can see the very precise fit of the 2015 is not quite matched by the 2016. I noticed it when overlaying the images in photoshop. I have no idea if the firing process can affect the size of the gold disc under the enamel or if the discs can vary in size for another reason.

I like both but the enamel dial is 100 times more interesting than the moon phase
