Seems right to me Paul. The APs I've owned have had G, H and I serials and they match the years of purchase above. Best.

I would update the I serial to 2013/2014. I got my ceramic diver in 2013 and it was an "I" serial. H and I overlapped to a certain extent depending on the model.

Looks pretty accurate. I've hade F,G,H and I and dates match up. Can't speak to anything before that.

I've got a G that was purchased new in 2011. They all seem to make sense... These would be production dates?

I was looking at a ladies white ROO model 26048SK.ZZ.D010CA.01and it is a H series.
So it is at best a 2014 production, sitting at the show room for 2 years?

What does it mean if the serial number has no letter preceding it? Im talking about a RO two tone automatic, probably 36 or 37 mm. the number on the back is two digit and no letter... can find any other number on the case...

Hi guys,

I was looking for some advice, I just got my new AP 15450ST and I have noticed that the serial number starts with TWxxxxL which slightly differs from the nomenclature I've seen around.

It was bought from an authorised AP dealer but I will appreciate if someone could give me some insights of this difference

Thanks in advance,
Alex

I believe AP recently started doing random serial numbers (similar to Rolex) so it will no longer follow the sequence outlined here.
