Where to go for annual pressure testing

I would like to get my diver pressure tested, so seeking advice on the best place to go.

Wait until I’m back in London next and go to the lounge, or pop into a local Wempe / other AD and ask them ? Or is it something even a local jeweller can do who handles any brand of watches ?

I assume it can be done anywhere - but perhaps benefit of AP doing it, is that should it ever leak when under warranty they have a record of it at least being checked.

My preference is to have the AP AD or service center do it.

If it leaks under warranty it’s still on AP to fix. They used to extend warranty after a pressure test but dropped that and just extended the warranty. I take my watches to my local high end watchmaker. Pressure tests, demagnetization and updated appraisals when needed.

A short update on this :

Went to the London lounge with the watch for pressure testing (the staff are really so nice there)

No issues and passed with full marks.

The pressure testing was carried out with both crowns unscrewed.

Hi, am interested in getting my 2014 SD4k tested.
Where is the lounge?
Is there a fee?
Do you need an appointment or just turn up?

Thanks.

There was no fee, the AP lounge is in Mayfair just off New Bond Street. I had an appointment for it and it took about 15 minutes then we looked at a couple of watches.

I don’t think they will pressure test a Rolex though - but assume one of the many ADs that stock or sell exclusively Rolex around that area would offer the same treatment if you phone in advance to confirm.
