Opinions on a dress only watch.

I got no problem wearing this on any occasion.

If fits under most shift cuffs. I don't really own a 'dress watch' anymore.

I had a Deville but wore it maybe ten times over many years and flipped it.

If you're looking for a dress watch from Omega, I would strongly advocate looking at the DeVille Tresor models on a strap. I would also look at other brands, such as Longines or JLC.

I own several omega watches and love them all. But i don't think omega makes anything approaching the day date or datejust lines. They are gorgeous watches. All the watches above are great, but i think i'd take a datejust 41 over any of 'em

After looking at a few, knowing that I would only wear it occasionally, I opted for a VHP Conquest from Longines. I think it will serve its purpose and allows me to grow my Omega collection on some more desirable pieces for me.

This would be my choice. Love this watch

Update: selection made

Received this DeVille for fathers day!!
So I had previously purchased a Longines VHP for this task. Unknown to me a present was in the works between my wife and my AD for a Omega dress watch. My wife had secretly returned the Longines to my surprise and got me a Omega! Pleasantly surprised.

That's a very nice gift. Congratulations. I think that De Ville makes a much better dress watch than that Longines.
