Aftermarket straps for Omega
I've been feeling an itch, wanting to change the bracelet on one of my triple date speedys to an aftermarket leather strap, and was wondering if anyone out there had suggestions on where to look, etc. Also wouldn't mind the type of waterproof canvas, or leather strap (like the Longines Legend Diver) that would look good on the smaller, 39mm speedy.

Seller Jankoxxx has some great Horween Shell Cordovan straps. Highly recommend them. :)

Thanks for the tips! Will be checking out those links. I've noticed that most straps cater to the larger speedy pros... my triple dates are smaller (39mm), and was wondering if anyone with the smaller speedy have changed to these straps before?

Speedy on rally straps
Here are a few pics of the Apollo XV speedy on rally straps. The red one is from Panatime (http://www.panatime.com/netoitlarabl1.html) and the other one form global watch band (http://www.globalwatchband.com/group/56/#1440%2075).
Enjoy! |

Lovely straps gents...however I have a question. If you were change your straps, do you also get an original Omega buckle to go with it, or just a generic one? I'm asking because I was also itching to get a leather strap to go with my Speedy Pro...

Thanks!!!
I don't usually bother; to me it'd be too much of a hassle and I like the way the Hirsch buckles look. |

I did, but that's because my strap didn't come with one. It also helps that I found an OEM 16mm buckle for a good price too.

Just checked out most of the aftermarket straps (especially from Hirsch). Unfortunately, not many make 18mm straps! My 3250.50 triple date has a smaller case (39mm) and lug size (18mm), unlike the speedy pros. Dilemma... |

After many weeks of trying to find a sailcloth strap for my speedy, I gave up and decided to just pull the trigger on a Hirsch tonight:
Looks small, but that's just how 18mm rolls. Quite satisfied with the results so far, but I'm sure the itch will surface again. |

I just ordered a Brady Strap for my PO. Black sailcloth with orange stitching. Waiting impatiently for it to get here. Will post pics once I have it on there.

I think that the Speedy Pro bracelet is the best looking available (especially the vintage models), but it can look pretty good on straps too.
