Should I trade my Milgaus for a Pam372?
Well it be my Milgauss GV and my Pam002 B series, L dial ... For Pam 372 from 2011 unworn.
I love the look of the Pam 372 and i hardly wear the Milgauss ... I only give the Pam002 a bit of wrist time since i started dreaming of the 372 ... Would it be a bad deal? Thanks.

If this is a trade with a dealer, I guess maybe it's an "okay" deal, but, if you were to sell privately, you could easily do better (and have 2/3k in your pocket is my quick guess). Plus, 372 prices are softening (see prices on these boards in the sub-9K range).

I find the 372 pretty nice but prefer the Milgauss, especially the GV, therefore I'd say no to it.

Keep the Rolex in this forum and if you post in Panerai section definitely trade it!

I wouldn't... But I'm not a Panerai fan.

To make the best of the deal, just sell the Mil and buy the PAM separately.
Preference is really up to you. I personally prefer the PAM....BUT... Do you really want to hand wind your watch every day? |

Deal seems pretty bad but I understand not wanting to sell privately as its quite a hassle. Your definitely getting hurt pretty bad though...

I'm not a fan of the Milgaus, so yes. Also, there's something about hand-winding that connects you with the watch.

IMO, you're losing quite a bit in that trade deal, I wouldn't do it.

I notice from your signature that you already have a great collection of Rolex models so why not, the Pam 372 is a beautiful Pam with excellent residual values.

If you go for a 372, I'd try selling privately and buying a preowned at around 8k.
Also, I'm assuming you've tried on the 47mm case? I love it. Some find it a bit much. |

Yes, I tried the 47mm ... I also used to own a IWC Big Pilot ... Size is fine, also i think I would not wear it with a suit.
I think if one only owns 1 Panerai .... The 372 is a beautiful choice. I know i could sell better and buy a 372 but I am not into the hussle of selling privately ... Also a trade does not make me feel guilty about the money ....

If you're trading the milgauss and the 002, I would ask for cash from the other person, otherwise, you're getting ripped off.

The 372 is a sublime watch. I even traded the more versatile Rolex sub c for one and haven't looked back. I wear it almost daily and plays friendly with many kinds of straps. Pure Panerai DNA with a new, beautifully simple and buttery smooth in-house movement. You can't go wrong, but I'd agree that you'd have to be okay with taking a bit of a financial knock by trading on both your watches. Do want you feel comfortable with though. I've lost money before for convenience, and still had much enjoyment from the decision.
