Anyone own an aftermarket rbow daytona?
Seriously considering one of these. Where did you find one and about how much can one expect to pay? Presuming the only drawbacks to these are women will be instantly attracted to you and can never send it in to RSC.

Why get an aftermarket RBOW? Are they much less expensive than a factory original?
I don't know if I'd be super-confident in the ability of a modder to make something comparable to the original. Although, if that pic is aftermarket, it looks pretty flawless. *edit* Oh, or do you just mean one from a secondary-market seller, not aftermarket parts? |

No way. Either buy the real thing or don't buy at all.
Aftermarket is nothing but a "wannabe". |

I’m curious if there’s “a guy” who’s most known for producing these. |

I wouldnt waste the money. I own a real one and there is a significant difference. The gradient on the stones isnt anywhere close and the subdials look horrific. You’ll end up blowing 60k and wont be able to give it away if you ever want to sell. If you want a killer statement watch source a YG Green Dial Daytona for 40-45k.

I love the rainbow Daytona. I would not get an aftermarket though.

I don't think people in this thread realize the difference in price. These aftermarket ones can be had for 40-50k from solid jewelers. A real one, if you can find it, is closer to 300k. A factory one simply isn't in the cards for most of us.
OP if you like the look then go ahead. It's still a real Rolex and a cool watch. Just vet the dealer well and be sure you're getting quality stones and a job well done. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk |

There was someone on the forums who had a rose gold Daytona and had a jeweler make a custom rainbow bezel for it. Looked really nice, not too expensive (~2k USD) and if gets boring can always put the old bezel back.

I think the bezel is not a hard thing to me made by some professional jewelers. However, you would still have to find someone who could made that dial perfectly. It is actually not that difficult to look aesthetically 95% similar. The aftermarket one would only cost 1/10 to 1/8 of the price after all. I do have made a diamond ROO before and my friend has made a rainbow RO too.

I’m usually a buy an original or nothing kinda guy however at the price difference for the craftsmanship of that watch he’ll no it’s not worth the diff
That watch is 34k negotiable for those who are saying 50-60 and the work is pretty impeccable. Will always be a Miami buyer for it at same money |
