Visiting London Salon

All,

I’ll be visiting the London Salon soon. As I am not local, I do not expect to be offered anything or put on any list (please seek allocation via your local AD). Anything however I should ask to see/do whilst there that wouldn’t be obvious for a first time visitor?

Enjoy the tea/coffee and small chocolate that they offer.

I would ask about whatever watch you want to purchase and go from there. If it is not some hot SS model, I suspect it will not be that hard to order the watch and receive it with a reasonable timeframe.

I like Scott’s in Mayfair (great sea food and people watching) and the Connaught hotel bar with their amazing selection of cocktails then you can go around the corner to Mercato Mayfair (food court with roof top in an old church).

Jamavar for Indian food.

Hi all. My visit to the London salon was a bit disappointing. The salon was undergoing a remodel, which the associate apologized for. But what was surprising was the lack of watches available to be shown (or available to be shown to me). I was very upfront with the fact that I did not expect any sort of allocation, but made clear that wanted to view a number of non-sport models for purposes of deciding what to select in the future. It wasn’t a bad experience, but not what I was expecting based on others reports. Guess I know where I stand in terms of the pecking order!

The Salons have changed over the years, similar to Patek ADs.

Geneva Salon has all the watches to see and try on if you want to see something to purchase in the future.

Yes, when I was there in 2022 they were super nice but no watches to show. AC wasn't working so it was crazy hot. At least I got a smoling deal on the strap I bought and the service rep was incredibly nice. Paris had a bunch of watches to show and Geneva pretty much all of them.
