My favorite ice cream is B&J's Halfed-Baked. A mix of chololate chip cookie dough and their chocolate fudge brownie. Holy crap....

Bah humbug on those fancy, frivolous, expensive ice creams..........nothing mo' bettah, brah, than a good vanilla ice cream with several ounces( in my case pints) of Hershey's chocolate syrup (from the can only) poured over it!
Garnished w/ several handfuls of semi-sweet chocolate chips(optional, but I recommend it highly)
Nectar of the gods.

Like some others here, I'm a fan of B&J's Cherry Garcia..

Also, I'm not opposed to a hot fudge sundae for dinner at times too....

So how much does a tub of Ben & Jerrys ice cream cost over in the USA?

I usually go for the Dreyer's slow churned that has half the fat of ice creams that have double the fat.

Vanilla cookie dough is my favorite b&j flavor. They brought it to Europe years ago, surprised it has taken this long to get to Australia...

Try B&J Half Baked... Like a pint size party.

Cookie dough is really good to.

We pay around $5.00 per container(Ben and Jerry's) as well unless it's on sale. And when it is on sale the shelves in the freezer get cleared out!!!

I hate this thread. Making me want to go open the freezer and take some out. No B&J at the moment, though...:'(

Funny you mentioned this Steve, I tried the B&J icecream in Hong Kong earlier this week. Fantastic texture and taste.
Also did Haagen Dazs there. Yummy!

Who's selling B&J here? Coles or Woolies? or a specialty shop?

Ben & Jerry's gets as low as $2.99 a pint when on sale around here, but typically it's in the $4-$6 range.

Best ice cream I've actually had was from a little shack in Oistens, Barbados a couple months ago. Depth and range of flavor was remarkable, and it was silly how cheap it was.

New York Super Fudge Chunk is a fave of mine that I haven't seen listed yet. So many good flavors!
Steve-o, if/when you make it to the US you can get it easily and cheaply...and there are Ben & Jerry's stores in most major cities...even one as small as Boulder, CO.
Drop by and see me- 1st visit to the Boulder shop is on me.

Another good one is Graeter's...not as widespread and simpler flavors- but very good IMO.
