So we're in agreement. Who Framed Roger Rabbit by a landslide.

Looks like there's some sort of disagreement...

Just saying.

Quantum of Solace, the rest of the movie is the subject of heated debate, but the opening sequence from swooping in over the lake, the music and the way the chase is edited is frentic, relentless and entertaining

probably won't get votes for the 'best' intro, but certainly the mother flippin freakiest intro that to this day still makes me feel like I should be in a straight jacket when I watch it.

Star Wars. Opening theme, no credits, just straight into the action.

One of the X-Men movies had an incredible opening scene where the blue guy with the tail penetrates the White House, kicks butt, and slams a knife down near the president. Amazingly fast-paced and gripping.

Raiders of the Lost Ark. The first 15 minutes exhausted me, still does.

Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I always thought it was cool the way the Paramount logo then dissolved into a shot of a real mountain.

Sort of like the entry to apocalypse now...

Once upon a time in America springs to mind as well with the telephone just endlessly ringing.
