I think a darker insert would look better on this baby, what do you guys think? Unless ofcourse switching inserts is considered sacrilegious..

Cheers guys!
Shame about the chip at 10 - the dial is crucial, regardless of raw case, which I'm also a stickler for, btw.

Great double reds guys.

Cheers!

I agree its a shame there is a marker chip.. good thing is, there was full disclosure and the price reflected it :-)

I also try to look at the silver lining (maybe I am fooling myself) that the chip is an indication that the dial was never refinished. Haha!

The first one you got is a peach, though!

It has a similar chip, at 9. I think these are very common with mark 4s? As i have read.. but still i love em haha!

That one is much less pronounced, though. It's very common, yes.

You have caught the SD-fever, haha! Beautiful pieces, enjoy them. I don't know how you choose which one to wear, but I guess it is a good problem to have. You should do a family shot

That is some serious DRSD action! Enjoy those pieces, the one on the right is particularly captivating!

Guys
I'm also looking to purchase a DRSD.
My friend is selling a mark 4 dial with original box and totally original and un polished. I've seen a few DRSD and this one is possibly the best condition I've seen. He's asking 30K GBP. What do you vintage experts think of the price ?. I have a few modern Rolex pieces in my collection but new to the vintage bit. Thanks
