Hypothetical forced choice
To smile and out of pure curiosity,
is a Rolex (16600) my choice of only one watch like many of us but If you were forced to choose just one NOT Rolex watch, what would you wear thanks to those who will participate

From my current connection it would be the Royal Oak 15300. If not from my current connection it would be an ALS Langematic Perpetual.

Thats a tough one Gerry.
I know what my heart wants to say, but out of the ones I own ... honestly, it would have to be an automatic and one I can wear without worry .... I guess it would be this one for me IMG_20191222_130845_270.jpg Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

Hmm good question. Probably a Tudor Sub, and it'd be a blue snowflake.

Mid 1990’s 41mm Omega Seamaster 300M - the quartz original. Dependable, bomb-proof and the most accurate piece I’ve ever owned.

Probably JLC. Either polaris chrono or a master control. Or maybe an SMP 300?

Panerai for sure. That's just about all I wear anyhow. With the recent addition of a Bronzo, my 40mm feel so small now

I’d love to say my Speedmaster, but I think if I really had to settle for one watch for everything, it’d be a Seamaster 300M.

Patek Celestial is the grails, but for a daily I'd probably get a UN GMT+ in 18kt

Maybe a gold seaQ. Not sure this would be a very stressful or difficult decision. I’d even go with a Pelagos 39 on the bracelet maybe. Anything good quality, tasteful, sturdy. I’m not as picky as many of our esteemed collectors here

My response to these threads has always been that if things get so bad that I have to make do with one watch only, it would be a solar-powered, NIST-referenced G-Shock. If it comes to thermo-nuclear war and the electro-magnetic pulse fried the G-Shock, I'd probably go with my Tudor BB36 or my Heritage Chrono.
