New lockdown in the UK - how this will affect AD's again?

Hey all,

What do you think, with the new national lockdown until mid-Feb, will the usual AD game change and there will be some chance to get something by calling/e-mailing?

No change. They can still sell all their good
Stock to grays.

Ever wonder how the grays get all the nice pieces before everyone.

Yeah we're not allowed to even meet anyone outdoors face to face with a social distance of 2 metres or anything other than buying food or exercising with your household (who the hell even does this btw?!). What a crock of baubles. Visiting an AD is probably out of the question pal. Sorry. I realise what you meant. I'm just fed up.

I feel your pain. Many friends in the UK and around the old continent.

Text, phone, and mail still work.

That's still a mystery to me... maybe they're preferentially treated by ADs

It will affect ADs methinks. Rolex UK won’t have anyone in bldg. to receive & distribute stock. Rolex SA will curtail shipments to UK if nobody can accept shipments.

No way to know - these are guesses from when NYC locked down last year.

All the dealers I use have a skeleton staff on site to process deliveries. The only change to the pre-Christmas situation is that you cannot go in and browse.
