I’m incredibly rich but I don’t get the fancy accessories for fancy accessories market.

Why not just buy another house or yacht?

I don’t own a pair but the Prada is the nicest IMO. The Burberry one is not so nice looking.

Think it’d be cheaper to lose the air pods repeatedly than buy these cases

It’s like having an LV wallet with $5 in it. Doesn’t make sense.

We have too many gadgets.

I often joke with my family that when I’m fully retired, I’ll trash my cell phone. The only way to communicate with me will be by mail letter, or carrier pigeon

Consider this your memo. Lol.

To OP, I did notice people wearing these off their belts like pocket protectors?!? Bizzare.

I don't think that anyone of them would go with the orange ear wax that is deposited all over my AirPods.

What?

The Prada one looks pretty cool minus the hand-strap. I would get one but I change these gadgets every few years and the new one usually doesn't fit in the old case.

My thoughts exactly

As Mitch Hedgeberg would say "they used to be not cool, they're still not cool, but they used to not be too"

Ever see Rich Kids Of Instagram many years ago?

Besides, it's only cheap currency.

I'm not sure anything can be ostentatious and cool at the same time.

I personally can’t understand why anyone would wish to buy products like this. None of the brands shown are specialists in this area. To me it comes across as being somewhat tacky.

It’s a bit like designer sunglasses. I much prefer owning sunglasses by recognised eyewear specialists such Oakley, Ray-Ban and Persol rather than a designer simply licensing their name to the product.

I’m not having a go at those who do chose the designer option as it’s just my opinion. At the end of the day if it makes someone happy, who am I to knock it?

These and $70,000 wristwatches.

I know a wide variety of people, none of which aspire to this.

A good 50% of the watches displayed on this website alone are vulgar in taste.

Like o0o0o I was lucky enough to buy this $15,000 mass produced steel watch at retail, look at me, o0o0o so cool, edgy & original ...

If you don't know anyone like this, you're not looking around.

Walk into a grocery store and see what half the women are carrying. Probably some Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Coach, maybe some Kate spade and a mixture of other vulgar garbage.

Look in the parking lot, I'm sure 75%+ of those cars are financed with the notes being underwater.

The building you're likely shopping in to observe all of this likely won't be paid off for another 30 years, by some company that decided it needed to build some $10 million supermarket so that the local grocer who worked with local farmers couldn't compete.

We've got buildings so nice, noone can afford to occupy half of them these days.

I think the financial situation of most people speaks volumes. Most people fail to live within their means, or without extended credit they can pay on time. To me, that speaks to the vulgarity of society as a whole. At the end of the day, these stupid airpod cases probably cost less than the depreciation of a Rolex in this market, so hard to fault one and not the other in my opinion.

I don't wear my Rolex most days as its become a safety concern to an extent. If it wasn't such an offensive display of wealth, I don't think I'd have those reservations.
