1974 Rolex Submariner 5513 Non-Serif Dial Dark Blue MK3 Bezel Insert Gorgeous Watch
Up for sale is a 1974 Rolex Submariner 5513 with Non-Serif dial.
The patina is all matching on the hands and dial. They are original to the timepiece and remain untouched. Date code on the bracelet matches the case. The case back is stamped 5513. The dark blue Mark 3 bezel insert is just stunning. The timepiece was fully serviced on 11/17/22 by Phillip Ridley (a well known vintage watchmaker) and owner of Ridley Watchmakers. Comes with the paperwork shown below. The case is very strong with thick even lugs and the factory chamfers are clear and sharp. 1974 Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 This one is just so good. This vintage sub just makes me happy. From the creamy patina on the hour markers to the matching original hands to the often misidentified “Non-Serif” dial, it’s just an awesome reference in amazing condition. The lugs are all natural and the factory chamfers are fully intact and super defined. It’s my favorite watch and has been a daily wear for me for a while.
Recently fully serviced by Phillip Ridley. Phillip is the man to see when it comes to servicing any vintage Rolex. He does it right and doesn’t skip any steps. Whoever ends up buying this watch hopefully will one day sell it back to me. I fall in love with a watch from time to time but cannot keep everyone I fall in love with, so it is for sale. I have plenty of pictures with various combinations of inserts and bracelets. This 5513 does come with the matching 1974 date code C&I bracelet although it is photographed here on a riveted oyster bracelet Ref. 7206 in this post. It comes with either the correct MK3 dark blue bezel faded insert or the very minty perfect blue alternative MK3 insert in the first picture. Your choice.
