SS Zenith Daytona... No box or papers..purchase question..

$9,000-9,500 seems correct assuming it is in very good condition... IMHO...

if you like the full package you may will miss the papers later,if you don t care than why not to bargain a little more with the seller?
i had one watch w/o paper-a relatively cheep speedy pro-and it wasnt easy to sell w/o papers.

Cannot understand why as after the warranty period thats all it is a bit of paper. And that bit of out of date warranty don't always prove the watch is genuine, fact the papers are the easiest to fake.

As an aside, for me I would want box and paps for that watch. It is and is going to be highly collectable and I would pay extra now for a complete package.

It's just the way I am, I like things complete and as perfect as can be.

Big difference if it is a regular U-series which had rather high productions numbers in white dial vs the black one, or if it is an early version with inverted 6, or the latest gen A or P series with luminova dial and SEL.

Buying a complete one with box/papers will enhance the value greatly, even if some people obviously are indifferent.

I wouldn't pay more than $8,000-8,500 for a regular white dial one without papers, but then again I would keep looking for the right object instead.

I agree with Pat. I wouldn't pay over 8500 for a Daytona w/o papers.

agree strongly that you should look for an A or P series which have the SEL. Love that watch!!!
