Jeannie, my sincerest "Thanks" to you, your and your forum members. I truly appreciate your hospitality on WUS. I for one will check in there more in the future. I don't think I speak just for myself in saying that we appreciate WUS and are glad to know you.

ps. I will post picture of the watch I buy my daughter when we get it!

With warm thanks,
Marie

OP I seriously suggest you think about an apology....one thing about TRF is that the community is often very forgiving but only if the offender is forthcoming and brave enough to acknowledge and retract their mistake....doesn't mean they will .... You may get flamed.....but you'll have to take it. What you did was idiotic and thoughtless.

OP, you should be thankful for the hospitality that WUS provided for us. They were very tolerant, and they were nice for putting up with us. Thanks Jeannie and the rest of the WUS team for their kindness, I hope to see more of you stay at the WUS board as well!

That's not a very nice statement.

WUS is a great site with great people and excellent content. They were very kind and gracious hosts to all of us here at TRF. I will be checking in there more often.

I was proud to sign the card Marie. Very "cool" gesture, BTW (oops-there I said it again, huh ?)

Youse guys that don't go to WuS regularly should consider dropping in from time to time. They have a sub-forum for just about every brand of watch you can think of, most notably the one with the "Star"

Thanks Doc...Lately I haven't ventured very far from here except WUS when TRF was down. They really are first class over on WUS, and very much appreciated by me for certain!

It is still good to be home.

I hear you. Personally I've been known to bar hop, mostly cause I like to keep up with everybody. Three watch fora, 2 motorcycle fora, 2 {Unmentionable Thing That Goes Bang} fora, + my cello forum means I have to travel fast and light. But I still spend most of the time here.

Geezzz! I couldn't believe that thread title either. Jeannie, as a regular on WUS, I'm proud of the way you and the great WUS contributors took care of my TRF friends.

Well done to all at WUS for hosting many members of this site in their hour of need.

I didn't join the site but I enjoyed lurking around there and getting my daily dose of watch talk

Have to agree with Leo on that . What attitude to take towards a forum that welcomed us with open arms . No wonder that some think TRF members are arrogant

I didn't log on there, didn't realize it was where we go, but that's horrible attitude my friend, not the type of feeling shared here at TRF. Anyway I hung around VRF and it was nice to be able to chat a bit. Next time this happens I will go to WUS, thanks guys!

Rather thoughtless, especially as you were one of the people who Jeannie took the trouble to personally welcome.

I don't see the value in keeping this thread open.

The OP is getting pleasure from lurking and if we keep on posting it is feeding their twisted pleasure.

WUS went WAY BEYOND the call of duty as we all know.

THE GUYS AT WUS ARE PURE CLASS........UNLIKE THE OP!!!!

NOW I VOTE LETS CLOSE THIS THREAD!!!!!
