Are you very caution when wearing our daily wearer?
Hi all,
Currently I had several watches to rotate and daily wearer still not subC yet as still precious. Work in marine line where environment is quite harsh and a bit heart pain at the moment to use SubC. My earlier Tag was precious in the beginning too but well it had been my daily wearer for 6 years and now I am comtemplating to switch to my subC as daily wearer. Tag had been well used and abused in my line. Have all of you taken special caution when wearing the sub or just let it subject to knock and abuse? When I saw most of the pictures posted here, the condition of the watches are all very well and I believe if I wear my subC daily, i dont think my subC will be that neat a condition as compared with the pictures, how did you guys do it? Maybe your working environment not too harsh? |

I wear my 16610 in rotation with the GMT IIC and Omega Speedmaster. I try to sneak in my 2 Seiko Monsters once in a while, but they have a tough time breaking into the basic rotation. But if I had to add up all of the time for each, I would say that the Sub gets the most time.

my 16613 never leaves my wrist (except when it's in for servicing). some might say, a serti dial sub is not an ideal daily beater, but it's all i can afford

GMT 16710 every day, and 14060 weekend. Sometimes, it is the reverse order.

Usually 4 out of 5 work days, and on and off on the weekend depending on the activity and destination.

They are all essentially the same watch, but different editions. The Sub refers to the Submariner without a date. The Sub Date is one of the earlier editions with date and metal bezel. The Sub C is the latest edition (came out about a year ago) with the squarer case, larger lugs and ceramic (C) bezel.
