Icon17 I'm back from Sicily!

Hey everybody

I have just returned from my holiday in Sicily, Its been great over there its a shame I couldnt of stayed another week.... or 3

I have taken quite alot of pictures for you to all look at and also visted a Rolex AD whilst I was there, I made the poor lady get out all kinds of watches from the safe but unfortunatly no deal done here

Just flying over Monaco...

Skip a few hours, landed in Trapani Birgi Airport Sicily, this is where all of the Canadian and R.A.F planes and jets are flying out from during the Libya bombings...

We rented a car, not the best car, but it got us where we needed to be

On 3rd May, there is a festival every year...

Ok, off to home now for a nice nap before my long stressful day watch shopping

Day 4... the sun is out, my watch is on, off to the AD

My dad with my Breitling...

Ok, Watch shopping time...

Nahh... Only messin with y'all

WG Daytona...

Two Tone, Panda Dial Daytona...

Now this is a truely stunning watch and I know I have to own one someday

She got me some gold out

The Cellini Prince

Just to let you all know, As you know I said the SS Daytona waiting list in england was about 10 years... no change in Sicily, the lady said she has stopped taking names and does not even believe she will see one at all this year

Thank you all ever so much for joining me on the journey

Dino

Great pictures and fantastic place - Thanks for posting Dino...

I am looking forward to visit Sicilia.
One of my 100 places (40 now) to visit before "departure".

At Rolex
She had a nice selection of Rolex sport watches (all the high euro value)
I liked the panda dial 116523, the new Prince and the white gold Day-Date
I understand there was no steel GMT steel Sub steel Daytona etc.!
Like everywhere else and especially in Italy these are sold fast.

Thankyou everyone for such nice comments

Its a wonderful country to visit, I would encourage anyone to do so

There seems to be alot of watch shops around too. Along my journey I managed to find, Rolex, IWC, Baume & Mercier, Breguet, Cartier, Monte Blanc and a few others. Truely great if your a WIS! If your after a sweet watch and a nice time, Sicilia is the place to be

No sign of PAM anywhere at all, apparently if I had travelled 40km down the coast I would have seen a Panerai store. My dad wouldnt take me though
