Will the 78790A bracelet fit a 116710 GMTc?

hi, Sorry if this has been asked before.

I am keen to fit a 78790A bracelet on a 116710GMTc but not sure if it can fit as i dont like PCL.

Will if fit nicely? Mr Tools...have you try this? Thanks.

Can't you just go to a reputable local jeweler and have them refinish the band to a satin finish like the band you're inquiring about? I'm sure that'd only be $100 or less.

It'll fit, but it won't be quite as good a fit as the original bracelet..

The newer cases have a larger locating ledge machined between the lugs, and the bracelets have a larger corresponding lower lug (yes, SEL endlinks have a lower and upper lug)

So, the 78790A with it's smaller lower lug will allow the top lug (top edge of the endlink) to ride up a bit... It may or may not bother you...

I think that it makes more sense to just brush the center links.. they can always be polished up in the future if a new owner wants to..

Here is what I mean by the SEL upper/lower lugs..
