Green on Green on Green

There has been so much talk about thinner lugs, the increase to 41mm and the change back to the black dial for the new 126610LV.

For me there is absolutely no better sunburst dial than the absolutely stunning green dial of the 116610LV which catches the light and changes character in such amazing ways.

Here is mine on the beach with a background of green seaweed creating a brilliant greed dial, green bezel, green background wrist shot!

The hulk will always be my go to watch.

I really have to see the new watches in person. I wasn't a fan of the supercase initially having been a 16610 owner, but when I saw the 116610LV in person I was blown away. I agree, it's something special. Won't be getting rid of mine no matter how much the cost goes up.

Agreed. The Hulk is special, and regardless of how valuable it becomes it will never leave my collection.

Resizing the Hulk on a green cloth, first pic I took that time
I replaced the Hulk with a Kermit after some time but it’s an impressive watch

I like the sunburst as it goes from black to brilliant green. Best of both worlds. I don’t have a green watch, but if I did would get the hulk.

It’s such a beautiful watch. I agree I like it a lot better than the new black/green bezel 41mm sub!

I always enjoyed the green bezel. The original 16610LV was fantastic. When the 116610LV came out, I was on the fence and had hoped for a black dial to be brought back. Dont get me wrong, I was on a list for the green sub, but it never happened. Now the new one is a MUST have for me.

I love the way my Hulk shimmers in direct Sun light ! I decided then that It could not be my daily driver. I would keep it in great condition to admire and appreciate on "Special" occasions. I really didn't think Rolex would retire it so soon !
