First Patek Incoming

Fortunate enough to be able to update the signature today. First Patek in my watchbox, hopefully more to come.

I vaguely remember the days when a simple handwinding Calatrava was the standard operating issue starter Patek. Vaguely....

Edit: lovely lovely lovely!

Congrats Adam!
Curious-- how big is your wrist and how do you find the fit?

The 5990 should be my 2nd nautilus, arriving at some point this year. Just curious how you find the fit/helft of it? I've read how it feels a bit 'big' and not sure it would sit on a 6.5" wrist like mine.

I have been thinking about this one a lot lately as well. What do you think hits the catalogue first, a blue steel 5990 or a PM 5990? I think a blue 5990/1a would be fantastic, but I also think it may be a while.

Thank you all, it is an awesome watch and really happy about this one. Surprisingly did not have to wait all that long, maybe 8-12 months.

My wrist size is on the smaller side as well at 6.75”. 4 links out and I think it fits really nicely. In terms of size and heft it wears smaller than my AP diver and and surprisingly feels pretty light. I was playing with an oysterflex gold Daytona and that thing felt like a brick in comparison.
