Yeh I’ve self regulated before and it does make a difference.

I don’t know how my Sub (daily wearer) would do when hooked up to one of those machines, but I’ve been able to self regulate it where now after 16 days it is less than 3 seconds fast over the full 16 days. I notice it gains a little time on my wrist, so I rest it on its side crown up over night, which seems to slow the watch down to almost the time it gains during the day. Again, not scientific and it may not be pretty on a timing graph or whatever, but the stunning real world performance is good enough for me.

My 3 watches are :

Apr 2000 GMT2 Pepsi
Dec 2014 GMT2 BLNR
Nov 2017 Deepsea James Cameron

Over a week of rotational wear, the results are ;

Pepsi +9 seconds
BLNR +\- 0 seconds
Deepsea +7 seconds

I am amazed at that accuracy over a week, with the worst at +1.29 seconds a day.

Impressive stuff!!

I use time.is. It's accurate and consistent. And I use the magnifying glass on my iPhone to see the second hand on my Daytona up close.

Self regulating method seems to work pretty well, or maybe it’s just a random fluctuation/coincidence.
