But if I wear my DD every day...when will I wear the others?

Count me in. I saw the video and went to the safe and brought out my DD. Now I've added it into the rotation also.

Lately I've been thinking the same thing! Ever since the Submariner 116610lv (do I dare call it the Hulk) has been selling for over $10,000, I'm taking a new fresh look at the single quick sets for an alternative at around the same price!

If the style works for you, there is nothing that says it can’t be an everyday watch. In fact, wear it and get your moneys worth.

Looks good. I’d still want to wear others in the collection occasionally but sure, I’d wear that as a daily.

I did, its a beautiful watch as well, but for me the 36mm looks perfect. My wrist is 7.25 in btw.

Definitely can be a daily, but I think you’ll miss the variety of rotation.

This is actually a very good question by the OP. I don’t have a DD but it’s my grail, the WG with silver face. I too, have considered would I wear this every day? I mean, it IS a 30K watch... But then again, I wear a 10K watch every day now... In the end, my answer would be absolutely! You earned that watch, wear it with pride and enjoy it every time you look at your wrist.

The DD is a great watch and easily a great daily wearer. I have a friend who has worn one for years as a one and only. Casual, dressy it all works.

Thanks, when I saw the dial I had to have this one. The tapestry dial gives the watch some depth and looks great up close or from a distance.

There's a reason why every day of the week is shown in full. Daily wear is what it was made to do!

Since retiring, I wear my gold watches much more than my other watches. The DD is my particular favorite, so I know how you feel. I still rotate my watches, but always feel a little sad when putting the Day-Date back in it's box.

As posted in another thread, my father-in-law wore this watch every day. I think it’s classic, holds up great, and is a great every day watch. To me, it has a slightly “country club” look to it. In a nice way.

Gold picks up scuffs and scratches very easily. That would scare me away from wearing an all gold piece as a daily
