Louis Vuitton being a pain

I’m from Canada with a Canada billing address. Trying to order something for my wife to the store near us in Naples and can’t do it. Spoke to every manager i could and nothing. Even bought from that store before.
So ridiculous.

A lot of online sellers will only ship to a billing address for security purposes. Its nothing new.

Is it the store, or your CC company? Try calling your card provider to preapprove the sale. I had to do that with a LV purchase when I was in Abu Dhabi with a US billing address.

^^^^ I had to do this with cc, too, for purchase. Hopefully, that's the ticket!

Can't you ask a friend to buy it with his card and pick it up from him?

are you trying to buy something not available in Canada?

I was not able to get a particular scarf i wanted from LV in Canada because there was no inventory in Canada. However, they were able to check inventory and find out which locations did have it in stock in the US.

I simply went to LA and got the items i wanted while on vacation in the valley. If you have a place in Naples then find out if they have what you want in Miami and make it a day trip.

I recently went through this in Canada for a limited handbag for my wife, LV would not do the transaction because I was out of town. A real pain, there was only two of these handbags in Canada left and online it was sold out. I managed to send a message on LinkedIn to the manager who I remembered the name and he managed to secure the bag over the phone for me and send it to my home. My advice, if you remember the employee you dealt with, find a way to contact them, via email, social network etc. It may work.

Yah. It’s an LV thing not a cc thing. I have the lady’s email in the store where we bought the bag. Have reached out to her for help.

yep. AMEX is easy with that. I put the wrong billing address in (my UK address) and shipped it to my UK address with no issues. Its a US based card.
