Haven't used one as I have a cheapo chinese timegrapher instead, so disregard this post if you're only after user experience.

Have a few observations though.

It's pricey for what you get, and they don't even give you the connector you might need.

Its accuracy is dependent on how accurate the quartz oscillator in you device is. In the past these haven't been that consistently accurate. * (That is unless it can use uber-accurate GPS signals somehow?)

I like the fact that you can build up a historical database of accuracy watch by watch, which would be useful to keep track of performance over time.

The measuring period shown in the video is quite short - I don't know if that is a user option. I normally like to let it run for up to a minute to see how things average out. Some watches can look fine for 10-15 seconds but then go off; a clear indication that they need some professional work. I have one that drove me nuts until I figured from the machine that the problem was hands touching in certain positions.

It would be neat to take with you when buying a watch - especially a used one.

I've seen other freebie apps which are supposed to do this, but generally the i-phone and android apps haven't got good feedback from users. There are Windows based ones which look much more professional, but you generally you have to come up with a suitable home-brew microphone setup.

* The cheap chinese timegraphers can't be calibrated either, but mine seems to be pretty darn close to predicting how a watch will perform in real life.
