Glad I slept through this one.

It's great to see a thread started by a banned poster. Lots of fun to follow.

I think any mechanical watch would have done really - nothing like a bit of self love to get the ol' ticker going. Pun intended!

Many of the women out there know the Rolex name but don't know what one looks like. I don't think a watch is going to do it my friend. Good luck in your quest.

Interesting metaphor about a virtuous woman one would want for a wife, considering what the original post was about! Oy vay.

Getting a watch because it might attract women would about as useful as a woman getting a boob job to attract men. Hmmm.....definitely the SS Daytona!

I think women would be way more impressed if you used the funds reserved for buying your "chick magnets" and took them for a nice dinner instead and perhaps treated them to something nice, not expensive, just thoughtful!

Then again, I'm just an old fashioned boy....

Actually I find the question humorous and non offensive. He may have rephrased the question and received a different response. I can tell you from experience the best anti chick magnet is a Ferrari and my assumption would be that a Rolex with bling would have a similar result. It appears that the opposite sex just wants someone successfull and confident not overly focused on themselves. But hey what do I know.

To me , it is not offensive in the least- I just find it sad that someone thinks like this- and even if they do, to vent it in public
