Old K serial 2002 116520 Daytona with OEM 116500 Ceramic Bezel
This may not be for everyone but I have managed to get hold of a brand new OEM 116500 Ceramic Bezel that came off a 2016 Daytona as it was replaced with a diamond Bezel. I know the Ceramic bezels are pretty much unobtanium so jumped on it when I knew it was available.
Need to get it fitted now and depending upon how it looks it could be a permanent change with the original Bezel going into the box or it may get changed back. Pic to follow

I'm curious how much a ceramic bezel is worth? Can you give me a hint about how much you paid please?
I'm hoping to get a ceramic Daytona this year but I can't make my mind up about the bezel. I know this sound silly, but my thinking is that if I don't like the ceramic bezel I could swap it for a SS version and sell the ceramic version. |

Not a fan of the ceramic Daytona... definitely prefer the SS bezel.
However, understand it's fun to always have the option to switch up. Do post pics once you sort who can do it best. |

It’s your watch and do it as u please, I’m all for modifying with OEM parts. Most here say they don’t like the ceramic bezel but given the chance to buy a D500 they would in a heartbeat.

Well, I have given up on Photobucket so here's the pic of the bezel. Just need it fitting now.
I'll post another pic tonight with it laid on the 116520 tonight when I retrieve it from the safe.

Looks cool, is your watch black dial?
If so, the K serial should have non-shinny sub-dial rings that looks close to 116500ln. My Y serial 116520 with thin hands also like this, looks much better than the bling sub-dials in late 116520. My rolex daytona 116520 by T C, 於 Flickr

Agree!! I prefer my white 116520 over the newer 116500. Just personal preference.

Well sure enough the 116500 ceramic bezel fits perfectly on the 2002 116520.
But do I prefer it over the standard Stainless Steel bezel? No. I'll keep it on for a while and see if my opinion changes but as for now standard classic 116520 all the way!

Looks like the bezel overhangs the case of the watch a bit, or is that just the angle of the photo?

Looks good but I would be changing the dial out now and done.
