No one is asking you too

Historically, Steel has been the material of all the highest value watches ever sold.

I paid £500 more for this from Watchfinder a few months ago

Regarding scratches, I have worn this as a daily wearer for the last few months and I have scratched the bracelet slightly. You learn how to wear it if that makes sense.

Why would you pay the same money for an inferior piece?

Prefer white dial and ceramic bezel to blue dial and white gold. Each to their own - but the market sets the price you pay for each so you pays your money and makes your choice.

I do like the blue dial WG though - just not as my only Daytona. If I get another it will probably be this one.

If PP 5712 SS makes 75 - 80k , our beautiful SS Daytona C must reach 100k USD !!!

I love my Daytona Ceramic , bought it from a Grey with a huge premium few months ago and very happy with it . It is beautiful watch , makes you feel good when ever you look at it ... I think this is most important , more important then the amount you paid for it ...

I bealive it deserves it’s todays value and more ...

Do have to admit that that dial is fabulous. But the steel bezel is really not my thing.

My bad. Don't know what went wrong there.

But the same tone bezel is not my piece of cake. Like the contrast of the cerachrome beter.

Cheers

To me it would be hard to feel good about paying the current used price for a SS Daytona. I would definitely opt for the WG version for the pleasure of the heft and feel.

i think we should all take it with grain of salt when looking at asking prices, it’d be nice to have some forums members who bought from grey to comment on their purchase prices.

Part of me wants to like Daytona's but whenever I try one on, it feels too small on my wrist. I am much more of a GMT/Sub fan. Plus I think they look a lil too busy for my tastes. I like simple...

Not difficult to comprehend and primarily attributed to lack of affordability.
If one can buy both watches at same price and chooses SS, specially when the SS MSRP is a third of the PM, well, as they say, a fool and his money.......yadda, yadda.
