Datejust 41 126334 - Waitlist?

I've been on the hunt for a 41mm datejust in steel, Wimbledon or blue dial. One of the AD's who I deal with has been trying to get me one for a couple of months, no luck!

Is this model slowing becoming harder to find in the UK, or around the world? I'm talking within the last month or 2, not before.

Yes, yes it is. I am trying to get the smooth bezel 126300 blue or rhodium dial (didn't make up my mind yet) and it's not available anywhere. WL only.

It appears that it is becoming scarce.
Quite a few threads popping up about this now.

Most difficult to source appears to be SS blue, rhodium and Wimbledon. Particularly on Jubilee bracelet.

I got a Rhodium Dial DJ41 last week with Jubilee and fluted bezel. Waited about 3 weeks.

Check out a small family owned AD in Mayfair. I spoke to every AD in London when ordering. They're the only ones who treated me with respect and actually did the job.

Other than that try Mappin and Webb in Westfield. They said they could order for me when I asked in June and it'd arrive by August.

Sounds like the Paul Thorpe video scared all of the UK into running out and buying the DateJust. Of course the AD’s sold them to the gray market first !

I bought mine SS DJ41 in Westfield in the beginning of June. It was the only SS DJ41 watch.

Just placed a custom order for mine. Expected wait time 2-3 months. Hopefully it's less.

Yup huge “waitlist” here in Singapore. I used quotes bc they really don’t exist in Asia.

It seems to be permeating all of the SS DJ 41 watches.
After reading a couple of these threads I went on Chrono24 and the combination of smooth bezel, oyster or jubilee, any color, is at least MSRP even for used partial warranty.
And many are $5-600 over MSRP for unworn or new.
Pretty amazing.
I bought a DJ 41, silver dial smooth bezel oyster bracelet February 2018 for approx. $6100 new, stickers intact and full warranty from a TS. The blue dial was available around $65-6700 new back then. MSRP in US was $7340, still is.
Obviously dealers believe they can a premium in current market.

It appears that the SS DJ 41’s are receiving the same treatment by AD’s as the SS professional models. One AD told me they could try to place an order for one if I gave them a 100% deposit. No thank you. Shortly after, another AD told me they could no longer place orders for them due to the increased interest due to the other SS model unavailability. Just more AD BS in my opinion, who knows. Good luck on your hunt.

I ordered my DJ41 smooth, sticks, jubilee 8 weeks ago and still waiting. Of course, the anticipation is driving me nuts

It took 4 weeks to get my SS Wimbledon. That was last September. I was told it's an allocated piece.

Can’t believe we have reached a point where even DJ41 are hard to come by... glad I have these two in my collection to hold me over for a while.

DJ41 smooth bezel will be the next watch to increase severely in price on the secondary market. Black/White dial the most. Mark my words...

I came across a fluted bezel, jubilee, rhodium dial steel in a local ad 6 weeks ago, it was in the window, I had a look and passed up on it but the sales assistant said it would be gone that day and it was unusual to have one in, they did also have an oyster flat bezel blue dial

The smooth bezel, black dial looks great. If I was not looking to get the 2019 SS 40mm yacht master, I would have bought the dial one a couple of weeks ago. To me, it is a better look and fit than the Explorer I.

I think I'm coming to realize that I shouldn't pass up any Rolex if I find them in stock. Soon they won't have any for sale.

There was a steel Wimbledon dial in my AD in the UK a couple of weeks ago , you'd probably be able to get the VAT off if you're based in Dubai

Just talked to my AD yesterday and he said the same thing about the Datejusts - becoming hard to get. They now have a list for those too. Crazy world
