Watch advice
My luminox just stopped working, I called and it may cost almost the amount to buy a new one as it will be to fix mine. I'm thinking about buying another watch but a different brand but same type (military, divers type). Any suggestions?

The first watch I thought of is a Marathon. I don't know a ton about them but know a few folks that really love them.

Look at Tissot.
Tissot combined with Omega a few decades back. After the Swiss combined their watchmaking industries, Swatch picked up both Omega and Tissot.

I have a Seiko dive watch with the active wind. Sum bitch doesn't keep time worth a shit and is dead in 12 hrs or less if you don't wear it. My Eco Drive won't be dead after a month and keeps time dead on.
Seiko 5 Seiko SKX007 Orient Mako Casio G Shock stays with me 24/7 through mud, muck, water, etc. Awesome watch. |
