That wouldn't go down too well around my part of the world hehe, but it's a lovely watch and what I am currently thinking will be my next, as I would love a sub

I actually got that in BKK on Silom. I love Thailand. The food, people and culture are amazing. Sawadee Krub.

He means that some religious Thai people wouldn't be happy with anyone using a Buddhist statue as a watch display, I think.

Shouldn't be an issue, Buddhism's main USP is that it is so chilled out.

Your first post is correct in thinking what I meant. I said it kind of joking as it doesn't bother me but actually they wouldn't be impressed. They are very chilled but the one thing that would upset them is images of Buddha being used in such ways. Actually it would be illegal to do that in Thailand from what I know. There is a big push on tourists here right now to stop buying these things and using them as decoration. I only say these things as i seem to have started a discussion on it, when it really wasn't my intention. My aplogies to the OP, as i think it's a great photo. I hope you post many more as you seem to be very good at it. Cheers
