panerai dates of manufacture

i'm thinking about buying a new pam 000,005.does panerai use letters in the serial number like rolex does?if so what letter is the most current?

Panerai letters are not like Rolex, they run in succession, they are on the J serial for this year to at least SIHH show.

It's much easier to remember the numbers of production if you compare them to the ones that rolex uses

If you call Panerai they can tell you, that,s how i found out my PAM140 was 04
