First SD50 on sale for non AD?

Looks like someone in the U.K. may have cashed in early and are selling their SD50 at Watchfinder.co.uk

This is speculation pure and simple.

It's not speculation it's in stock! Blowers in the UK also have on for £13,450

I have a feeling it's one of those "jomashop specials" as in the watch is technically available but they don't have it and will take "3-4 weeks" for shipping. At least that's always my first concern when a listing says not actual watch in photos.

Maybe I used the wrong word, I meant speculation intended as exploiting..

If you trust the advert, the seller had the watch in hand (says pic of actual watch). But methinks "exploiting" may be strong word to use. The "upcharge" is just like an expedite fee for buyers who are well funded and can't wait.

For example, Apple AirPods are on 6-week backlog at $159 MSRP. But eBay has well vetted sellers fetching $225-260 for new ones in sealed box.

Another high demand item that short supply can't fulfill via authorized channels. C'est la vie.

the grey market are keen to get hold of these watches, i have a local dealer offering me £12k for mine. I value my relationship with my AD too much to be tempted with a quick £3650 profit, even though that in itself would pay for another nice piece :)

It says it IS an image of the actual watch. Watchfinder only sells used/second hand items that are physically in stock.

People who have solid gold dustbins and baby pacifiers, there are a huge number of idle super rich or insta-pros in London at the moment who can't be bothered to wait even a day. Just like with soaring house prices these people are lifting prices for everyone.
