Red ink suggestion

Anyone have a suggestion for a cool red ink? Not particular on shade. Can be Ferrari red or pinkish but probably more towards the Ferrari Rosso red.

Going to ink a red lamy safari and just use for fun and something different than black or blue.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Just added a couple to my list on eBay. They have some beautiful colors. I have never used their inks. Worth a try.

You beat me to it. Anything by Diamine is great. My wife uses the scarlet one and my current favourite is the raw sienna. They're cheap enough that you can get several and play until you find one you like.

If you can find it, Lamy copper orange is pretty interesting. It's not exactly red but close. I was able to get some refills when I picked up my copper orange Al-Star. Pretty sure the bottled ink is out of production.

I have a local pen shop that commissions their own inks made and I am sure that if I asked they have the formula. $10 a bottle and one last me a loooooong time.

I like my DaVinci red chalk ink from montblanc.

I find waterman and Pelikan reds to be beautiful and easy to clean out when you switch. I'd avoid montblanc. Ugly tone IMO and harder to clean out.
