Thank you for the advice.

Would you have any idea how long it takes to regulate it ? Because the rsc in my country is not that great, they take 3 months for service. So i plan to have it done in Hongkong where i bought it

Has to "break in". Make sure to also give it a good wind (40 turns). Give it a couple of months, you have a five year warranty anyways. Enjoy it for now and send it in later if it's still bothering you. Would be shame to send it away for a few weeks after you've been looking for a year. Congrats on your new piece!!

Can attest to this. Got mine new in Dec 2016, after a few months of about 2-3 seconds/day slow it is now running near perfectly. Last adjusted it a little over two weeks ago and it is less than 2 seconds off overall!

It's nice to be in this club. Walked into a Rolex shop and saw the Batman on display... apparently, they only took it out 1 hour ago. Needless to say it didn't last another hour as I walked out with it on my wrist. First Rolex and it's beautiful! Blue bezel completely understated

I just got mine too! Most were suggesting the datejust would suit me more as I'm pint sized, but each day I wear it i love it more. :)

For the BLNR owners, how many links should there be in the bracelet? I did a search and there seems to be a difference depending on the kind of watch.

Mine, bought from a AD, has 12 links. Six permanent tapered ones and six removable ones.

I have 12 as well but have read some came up with 13 or even 14.

It just made me start to think if my AD forgot to put a link in the box or do ADs deliberately keep some of them thinking that you're not going to use them.

You see links being sold in ebay. Makes you wonder where 'some' of them come from.

And there is one more "easylink comfort extension link" hidden inside the clasp.

I believe the 6-digit GMT should have 12 links plus one "easylink". The article you read was for 5-digit GMT. I only use 11 links and one easylink for my BLNR, so I have one link left in the box. I guess those links sold in ebay are mostly from watch owners' spare ones.

Same here, which was surprising since my wrist is only 7-1/4". Some folks must have to buy extra links or do AD's throw one in, if needed?

AD will charge the watch buyer for the requested extra links. They are not free!

I've only had mine less than a month and it gains 2+ secs/day. It will be ahead by 5+ secs after 48 hours.
What made you say that the RSC in the Philippines is not great? Any bad experience?

Just that they always say there's a huge waiting list for rsc here, and that it's going to take 3 months minimum.

Planning to ask if they can regulate my watch on the spot, or have it pressure tested every year. But I dont want my watch to be at the rsc all the time just to make sure i can take it swimming

No flaming--- i actually kind of like it.... it sports it down and adds element of youth and eclectic. Question-Its a heavy watch- how does the band handle that weight mismatch?
