Reis Nichols Indianapolis

Has anyone ever purchased from this establishment? I am looking at a pre-owned GMT Pepsi from 2005 that they just took in on trade and am very interested. They seem to be a very reputable organization, however I live in Chicago and have not heard of them other than stumbling in on them on a business trip this week. I would love to have some feedback from anyone whom actually purchased a product from them.
Thanks

I used to live in Indianapolis. They're a well know and established AD. Might want to check on the service history of the GMT. Box and papers would help too.

Thanks for the reply. It just came in on trade and not ready for sale yet, they informed me that it goes through a 4-6 week service, restoration process before they put it up for sale. The salesperson did inform me that it does include original box and papers

Never purchased from them but did visit and was very impressed with their knowledge, inventory, and hospitality. They even displayed vintage Rolex sporting natos, very cool. One of the sale men was also wearing a Rolex on nato w/ a suit and it looked great.

I have purchased items from them over the years, but not watches, and have no reservations about buying jewelry from them. (I've purchased most of my watches from DavidSW, a trusted seller here.)

That being said, Reis Nichols has been around for a long time and they have been great about sizing my Rolex watches even though none were purchased from them. Their watch guy, Vladimir, is extremely knowledgeable about Swiss watches. You might want to call their 'Fashion Mall Commons' location and speak with him about the GMT.

Hope this works out well for you!

Thanks for the info! I did work with Vladimir and he was great! This is really helping my decision.

I've purchased 15 or so watches from Reis Nichols since 2006, including a vintage Sub and Pepsi GMT years ago. I used to stop in a couple times a week just to check things out and talk watches. You cannot go wrong with RN and Vlad really knows his stuff (he's also a personal friend of mine).

I have lived in Indy for about 12 years and they have a very good reputation. I have bought jewelry for my wife there and even had them custom make a couple sets of earrings. Overall, I was very pleased with the service. I have not purchased any watches from them, though I have looked quite often. I would have no reservations purchasing from them again.

He's one of the biggest sellers on here. A simple search will tell you. Look on his profile page....

I've stopped in a couple of times on business trips there, too. I believe they have a Rolex certified watchmaker with access to parts.
