Daytona's Polished Bezel vs Daytona's Ceramic Bezel
I know a lot of you (including me) have problem with scratches on Daytona's Polished Bezel, but to be honest, for me it is one of the best part of my Daytona....
And other famous watches such as PP Nautilus and AP RO have a "scratch magnet" bezel too.... So, I need your opinion, which one do you prefer, Polished Bezel or Ceramic Bezel for Daytona? Regards,

I wish the all the Daytonas had the option of the ceramic bezel. I have the gold bezel and it scratches really easily. The ceramic bezel on my Sub still doesn't show scratches after 2 years.

I like metal and ceramic bezels just as much, but find the font and pattern of the latter much more modern (and better) looking, imo.
Unfortunately, this style is only available on precious metal and ceramic bezels. These are door-knob magnets so I'm more comfortable with a SS bezel that's only $500 to replace vs a $2000 WG bezel. Can't have them all! [/QUOTE] |

I love the polished bezel I think it looks great and I have had 10 different ones over the years, never really had scratch problems that were troublesome
I did go ceramic on my last one however... |

You can keep your ceramic best place for the crazy priced ceramic inserts is where the sun don't shine IMHO.Now all any Daytona wants is a simple aluminum insert like say on the 6263 range. Mine is will over 30 years old and still looks like new today, myself not fond of polished or ceramic inserts on any Daytona..
