I was at a Toronto AD this weekend and they quoted me slightly above that and told me it was a 3-5 year wait

Not only the BLNR but appears all sport models are trending upwards with a cut back in production numbers lately.

You're kidding, right?

Just 7 weeks ago - I walked into the downtown Toronto AD shortly after opening and they had a BLNR sitting in the display case. Snapped it up immediately - it lasted about 10 minutes in the display case. They also had 116610, 114060, and they were all gone that same day too according to my sales guy on a later visit.

No way..3-4 month wait to everyone I spoke to. Call other AD’s. Even out of province.

I got lucky and got mine the morning I started calling around. Good timing as they just received it the day before and didn’t Call wait list yet. Lol.

If anyone is serious about a BLNR, I may be able to help. My next-door-neighbor saw mine about a year ago and he LOVED it! He never really liked Rolex's before he saw mine.
He went on "the hunt" for one because he knows someone that's into watches and has connections. Two months later, he asked me if I could help.
I made one phone call to my AD and he said to send him down - he'll take care of him.
He had it two days later.

My AD keeps the "hard to get" watches in the safe. When a "good" customer calls or comes in, they will get the watch. If you walk in off the street, you'll be put on "the list."

I sold my original BLNR that I had purchased back in 2014. Earlier this year I called my AD and got one right away. They had two in the safe.

I was able to get mine from an AD for $7500 OTD. Was buying an engagement ring and was able to negotiate this as part of the deal.

Agree, I think if you walked in Damiani, Raffi or any AD store with cash or cheats. I think they will be one available inside. Last time I checked, they had a BLnR available at the back.

Traded into mine at $8600 January 2016. Have owned 7 Rolex's in my life (only have 1 now) and this is the best one to date. +1 second a month and its the only one where the crown is actually at the 12 o'clock position. SD43 is on the radar down the road when the prices get below MSRP. (I can and will wait)

Wow——i just decided to add this one yesterday and started researching today. The prices members have paid (discussed above) all seem to be less than the prices listed by our forum members- both new and used.

Am I missing something here? I’ll be honest, I don’t follow Rolex SS pricing, but i also don’t want to pay an extra grand.

Got mine with a hefty premium from an AD in Guam, late November 2017 for US$9200 all in.

My friend got his in 2015 from the AD in the Hongkong airport for US$7,000.
