Not me, I feel the SubC is big enough for me. Don't think I could handle something more bulky than that.

I prefer to call it the Sd43, and yes I've got one on order.

The big SubC with red letters?! I initially thought no, since I already have a pre-anabolic steroid SubC, but it's starting to grow on me?! I'll have to see it in person.
Recently sold my SD4k and gave the $$ to my daughter for her wedding (WTF?!!), rethinking that a little right now?! |

No. I waited for Basel to see what it looked like and the size, just in case Rolex released a great anniversary homage to the DRSD. They did not, of course, so I went out and tracked down a classic 16600 SD, the last of the "real" Sea-Dwellers.
I've owned a few of these 16600s in the past, but it's been a while. I missed it. What a beautiful classic Rolex dive watch, and without the bloated case and blingy bezel of any of the newer ceramic versions of the Subs/SDs. |

When is it due for release ? Will it be hard to find (like the Dayton steel ceramic) ?

I really like it, but It'll wait to try one first. I would have bought a Deep Sea based on photos alone, but trying one on was a disappointment.

A lot of buyers in the UK I'm hearing. Get on those lists, guys, and start refining your bribery tactics...

Me. I think it's just about perfect... new size, new bracelet, great movement. The cyclops doesn't bother me enough to not own it.

I've requested one (can't say ordered, as I don't have to put down a deposit, which means I'm at the mercy of getting "the call" depending where I'm at on "the list").
No idea when it will arrive, and I'll wait until I have it in my hands to know if I'll for sure flip my 116600. Right now, that's the plan. Cheers, Joe |

It may be an impulse purchase if I see it in person.

I'm leaning strongly toward getting the new Seadweller 43mm. The one thing that's held me back from getting a SD is the size. It's just a tiny bit too small for my tastes, hence my having gone with Omega Seamasters up to now. I've long coveted the Seadweller and now I'm probably going to grab one.

It looks great with the new bracelet and a great choice for everyone who loves larger watches. Hopefully it's not to bulky on my wrist haha
