YG or WG Submariner

I can usually make up my mind pretty easily, but I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. I've tried both the 116618 LB and 116619 on and can't make up my mind. Looking for the forum's preferences. What would/did you choose and why?

I prefer silver toned jewelry and watches, but that is just me.

I agree! That's why I'm having a hard time choosing. Wish I could have both, but that's not happening for a while I'm sure.

This one is obviously a personal preference question. I prefer stainless, white gold, etc. over the yellow gold. However, this yellow gold sub is absolutely gorgeous. The gold with the blue dial and bezel is an amazing combination. Either way you cannot go wrong. I'd go white gold, because I can't personally pull off yellow gold.

Gotta be the YG with the blue. Or the black dial.

For me, the WG version is a little flat (ducks).

Both are just stunning peieces. That being said, the 116619 is pretty special.

What else is in your collection? I would go with WG - less flashy imo.

YG or WG Submariner

I'm a sucker for subs. I know ROFL.

I do like the 116618LN, but feel like I need a little blue.

Nice looking collection

Both could be nice additions. On one hand you'll have a lot of silver metal dived watches, on the other you already have a RG YM, so perhaps a WG model is more versatile and unique in your collection.

I'd add the Smurf myself, but the Black, Green, Blue dial Sub combo will be great regardless

I love them both but.......

If looking to have the weight and feel of a PM and fly under the radar, WG all the way.
If looking to wear "gold" proudly, that YG is a dream watch as well.

It comes down to dial preference as well.....WG has the flat smurf dial.....YG has the gorgeous sunburst blue dial. Hope that helps
