Smurf is the way I would go, but I must admit it's my grail.
YG is too flashy for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In general I prefer the 116619 over the 116618. However, with your collection currently, I would get the 116618 as a nice change of pace. If you get the 116619, my guess is your stainless subs will eventually get less and less wrist time.
So if I were in your shoes this is what I'd do: -Buy 116618LB now -Eventually trade 116610LN and 116610LV + cash for 116619 White gold isn't for everyone but man I love it. |

Both are great choices, but I would not wear the yellow nearly as much as the WG.

Someone here on TRF told me, "You have to have big balls to wear Yellow Gold Sub!"
and, after measuring, I felt that they were not Big Enough, so I traded for a 116619 Oh, and yes, the "measuring" was just hypothetical...

Yup take Sam's advice for sure. The man has had more gold subs pass through his hands already than most of us will in a lifetime.

Like others have said, WG is less flashy than YG. Depends on what you prefer. I have the WG sub, but love both. YG is beautiful!!!

The YG Bluesy is one of the prettiest watches Rolex has ever made. I am still partial to the 5 digit one but the is still pretty sweet! Full disclosure...I had one that I sold to buy a Malachite Day Date...which my wife stole!

⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ Agree!! I've had/have both metals, and this statement is as simple and true as it gets. When wearing the WG, you and VERY few else, will know your wearing PM. The YG on the other hand is loud and proud...no denying what you're wearing at that point! If your comfortable with that...go for YG. BOTH are spectacular pieces, can't go wrong!

WG would be my number 1 choice but Neil's picture of his YG almost pushes me over the edge every time. It's a great shot

The WG Sub with the flat blue dial that matches the dial perfectly is a real special piece (IMO.) That is my vote and one day I'll buy it (after my YG Day Date )

Both do have their place. I got the white gold first. I think less common and only those who know, know. I where the white most often of the two. Can't go wrong either way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
