So you removed the glued on cyclops and brushed the bracelet be careful you dont damage the AR coating as the GMTc has in on crystal surface and underneath,or is it a new crystal..

Did it have ARC so you had to get a whole new crystal? Brushed bracelet too.
Looks good, more rugged. Enjoy!

Thanks Padi. Actually I changed the crystal and the date-wheel, and had the PCLs brushed out.

Thanks. After a little research (and helpful advice from VanessaCW21) I changed the crystal to one for a Daytona.

Having spoken to VanessaCW21, Ommsen (who supplied the parts) and a couple of other TRF members....my understanding is that this could be done with either a Daytona crystal or a 114060 crystal.

I love it. But then, I also believe Rolex would do well to follow the model of some fine luthiers (such as Paul Reed Smith), and offer a custom shop. Make those mods factory-authorized, and breathe easy come maintenance time. At a premium, of course.

I like it. Looks good. Modifications done right are always interesting. I think sometimes people forget that they own the watch, not the other way around.

I like it. 99% of people would never know it didn't come from Rolex like that anyway. Quite subtle unlike the black coating stuff or super gluing diamonds to it.

Very cool. Once the pcl's get all scratched up this looks way better. And I once thought about taking a red gnat hand and a red date wheel and putting on a gmt.

Congratulations. That looks great. If given the choice between the two I'd pick that over the original every time.
