I didn't know that Rolex did AR coatings on their watches. Do they coat both sides of the crystal?

I'll certainly be waiting with the BLRO Neil. I see what you're saying about the date window, but it doesn't bother me (IMHO looks just like the SD4K).

I really like the date wheel and the brushed links. When I owned a GMTII-C I also had the PCLs brushed and liked it much better that way.

I paid 520€ for the crystal and the date wheel, and the watchmaker charged 150€ (including brushing the PCLs).

This may seem strange but removing the cyclops seems to throw the watch off balance in my opinion.
I like the brushed bracelet look though. I'd do the same if I wasn't in the anti-mod camp. |
