How do you prepare your watch for pictures?
Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am excited to be here and this is my first post. Do you have any tips what to use and how to clean all the outside areas of your Rolex so when taking a macro picture of it, you don't see any daily grime on it? I tried polishing it with a microfiber cloth but I still see dirty spots on my watch when I zoom in looking at my picture. Is there some type of liquid to use to clean it better? Thanks so much in advance and have a great evening! |

Im using a cartier watch cleaner for mine. Does what it says on the packaging. If you go into a cartier boutique they should be able to give one to you (you might have to sweet talk them for one). There are a few jewellery baths selling on amazon aswell. Or you could just clean it with a very soft toothbrush and soapy water. Tap dry (or hair dry on lowest setting) and wipe with micro fibre. Let us know how you get along

I do nothing. Just take the photo. How dirty can a watch get?

What he said^^^ although I have boxes of Zeiss lens cleaners so if I happen to be cleaning my glasses I swipe my watch before trashing the cloth.

I heard that the cartier cleaning kit worked really nice. You can even get it online at places like Ebay or Amazon. I've seen kits for under $50.
