AQUA TERRA vs. EXP 1
Understanding that this is a forum with fans of Omega and Rolex.. and this is in the Omega section.. just curious about your thoughts on the newer Aqua Terra 41.5mm teak grey dial vs. the newer Rolex Explorer 1 39mm.
Has anyone had any experience with both models? Obviously.. the Aqua Terra offers the date function while the Explorer does not.. wondering more about how each of them wear and any other thoughts you may have? Thanks guys.. |

There actually is a thread about AT vs Exp1 around here somewhere. I think the guy even posted two threads, one in the Rolex general discussion and one right here. Try searching. My favorite AT is the new one with black dial and 8500 movement. Stunner. For Exp1 I prefer the old 36 mm, just the right size. Good luck deciding

The newer AT is probably my next watch. I'm very impressed with the 8500 movement and the design is fresher but still understated.

Both great watches but I give the nod to the AT. I would love to own both though.

I love my AT with the teak dial and the 8500 movement, I've had it almost a year now. Out of the 30 watches I own it's still my favorite but....... I should have tried one on before buying it, the 41 mm case is just a little to big for my 6.25" wrist, at least for a dress watch. Feel free to hit me up on it if anyone is interested in buying it. It sits lonely in my watch box.
